Did I hear you today?

Did I stop during the rush, rush, rush of preparing for Christmas...

Did you have something to say?

Did I drive you away with a careless push?

Because I was too busy?

Because I was self centered?

Because I was full of my desires,

and ignored you, my Holy mentor.

Please fill my mind with quiet.

Please fill my heart with humility,

Please empty this vessel

In order to fulfill the destiny

that God has in store for me.
